Skinvive Before and After

 

Here’s what you can expect before and after your Skinvive Juvéderm appointment, along with a few tips to help you achieve ultra-glowy results. 

Before your Skinvive appointment:  

  • Make sure to review all of the documents and forms your provider shares with you. 
  • Let your provider know about any allergies, medications, or pre-existing conditions. 
  • On the day of your appointment, please avoid excessive alcohol consumption and make sure you’re well-hydrated. 
  • The injection can cause some discomfort, so please arrive at least 20 minutes early to allow enough time to numb the area. 

After your Skinvive appointment:  

  • You can return to most daily tasks as long as you keep the treatment area clean and avoid intense exercise, sun or heat exposure, and excessive alcohol consumption. 
  • You may experience some of Skinvive’s common side effects, such as redness or bumps. These usually fade on their own within a few days.
  • Avoid undergoing facial procedures for at least a few weeks following the treatment.
  • Skinvive will attract moisture to your skin over the next few weeks. You’ll see the maximum results approximately one month after the treatment.

 

Who Is a Candidate for Skinvive?

If your skin seems dull and dry no matter how much you moisturize, you might be the perfect candidate for Skinvive. Because it delivers moisture from within the skin, its hydration abilities go far beyond topical skincare products. 

That said, there are other things to consider. You must be over the age of 18, and you can’t be pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. It’s also important you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients in Skinvive, or to the numbing agent we use before treatment.
