Skinvive by Juvéderm

 Unleash your radiance

Get your glow on with Skinvive! This microdroplet treatment infuses your skin with hyaluronic acid from within, for unparalleled smoothness and radiance.

When serums and moisturizers are no longer enough, SkinVive quenches your skin’s thirst. Developed by the makers of Juvéderm, this FDA-approved injectable is proven to increase the skin’s moisture levels for up to 6 months.

In other words, it’s your fast ticket to glass skin. Are you ready to banish dullness?

What Facial Areas Can Be Treated With Skinvive?

Skinvive is specifically designed to enhance smoothness and hydration in the cheek area which is often prone to dryness and dullness. The normal treatment area starts at the top of the cheeks (directly below the undereye area) and ends directly above the jawline.

Cheek Hydration and Smoothness

There’s a reason why Skinvive is making waves in the beauty world! It’s clinically proven to enhance smoothness and increase hydration in the cheeks. Patients who participated in the research were thrilled with the appearance of their skin, stating that their skin looked much more refreshed and healthy after Skinvive.

How Does Skinvive by Juvéderm Work?

Skinvive by Juvéderm harnesses hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring molecule with the extraordinary ability to retain up to a thousand times its weight in water. The fluid formula is injected as tiny microdroplets, ensuring even distribution for a smooth all-over glow.

In the weeks after treatment, the hyaluronic acid attracts water, plumping the skin and maximizing hydration. Patients see a dramatic increase in moisture, smoothness, softness, and luminosity that lasts for up to six months.

Skinvive vs. Dermal Filler Treatments

How does Skinvive compare to other dermal fillers? There are some big differences, but also similarities. Like other injectable Juvéderm treatments, Skinvive is made of hyaluronic acid. It’s technically considered a dermal filler but instead of augmenting loss of tone, it creates a luminous and hydrated look with improved skin texture.

Traditional fillers are usually injected in specific areas deep within the dermis or even below it, to plump up or add volume. Skinvive, on the other hand, is injected a little closer to the surface of the skin. As a microdroplet injectable, it’s distributed evenly over larger areas rather than specific spots of concern.

If you’re looking for moisture and glow, Skinvive is a phenomenal treatment. If you want to fill in deep folds or enhance facial contours, dermal filler might be the better choice. But you don’t have to choose between Skinvive vs filler! Experience the best of both worlds by combining both. At SEV, we’re always happy to offer consultations so we can recommend you the best treatment for your needs and goals.

Skinvive Before and After

Here’s what you can expect before and after your Skinvive Juvéderm appointment, along with a few tips to help you achieve ultra-glowy results.

Before your Skinvive appointment:

  • Make sure to review all of the documents and forms your provider shares with you.
  • Let your provider know about any allergies, medications, or pre-existing conditions.
  • On the day of your appointment, please avoid excessive alcohol consumption and make sure you’re well-hydrated.
  • The injection can cause some discomfort, so please arrive at least 20 minutes early to allow enough time to numb the area.

After your Skinvive appointment:

  • You can return to most daily tasks as long as you keep the treatment area clean and avoid intense exercise, sun or heat exposure, and excessive alcohol consumption.
  • You may experience some of Skinvive’s common side effects, such as redness or bumps. These usually fade on their own within a few days.
  • Avoid undergoing facial procedures for at least a few weeks following the treatment.
  • Skinvive will attract moisture to your skin over the next few weeks. You’ll see the maximum results approximately one month after the treatment.

Who Is a Candidate for Skinvive?

If your skin seems dull and dry no matter how much you moisturize, you might be the perfect candidate for Skinvive. Because it delivers moisture from within the skin, its hydration abilities go far beyond topical skincare products.

That said, there are other things to consider. You must be over the age of 18, and you can’t be pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. It’s also important you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients in Skinvive, or to the numbing agent we use before treatment.
