Here’s what you can expect before and after your Skinvive Juvéderm appointment, along with a few tips to help you achieve ultra-glowy results. 

Before your Skinvive appointment:  

• Make sure to review all of the documents and forms your provider shares with you. 
• Let your provider know about any allergies, medications, or pre-existing conditions. 
• On the day of your appointment, please avoid excessive alcohol consumption and make sure you’re well-hydrated. 
• The injection can cause some discomfort, so please arrive at least 20 minutes early to allow enough time to numb the area. 

After your Skinvive appointment:  

• You can return to most daily tasks as long as you keep the treatment area clean and avoid intense exercise, sun or heat exposure, and excessive alcohol consumption. 
• You may experience some of Skinvive’s common side effects, such as redness or bumps. These usually fade on their own within a few days.
• Avoid undergoing facial procedures for at least a few weeks following the treatment.
• Skinvive will attract moisture to your skin over the next few weeks. You’ll see the maximum results approximately one month after the treatment.
