Customer Care Policy

 

 

For your protection, please review our policies carefully:

Policies for All Treatments

  • You cannot undergo any treatment in any of our offices if you are pregnant (or think you may be), nursing, undergoing fertility treatments, or preparing to undergo fertility treatments.
  • Please notify us if you have any medical conditions or history such as heart disease, thyroid disorder, diabetes, cancer, skin disease, or anything else that we may need to be aware of.
  • If you are under the age of 18, you must arrive at your appointment with a parent or legal guardian to receive laser hair removal or skin tightening services. Minors are not eligible to receive injections, Morpheus8, Evolve, Forma, and/or Potenza services in any of our offices.
  • The practice of medicine is not an exact science and no guarantees can be made concerning the results of such procedures; therefore, there will be NO refunds for any treatments received.
  • Please be advised of our 48-hour Cancellation/No-Show policy; if your appointment is canceled less than 48 hours prior to your appointment, 50% of your booked services will be automatically charged to the pre-authorized card provided in your file.
  • Please note all pre-paid packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. All deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be transferred to be used for a different service than what was originally intended.

Laser Hair Removal & Skin Tightening

  • You cannot be pregnant, nursing, or trying to become pregnant while undergoing laser hair removal.
    Make sure to shave 24-48 hours prior to your appointment.
  • The treatment area(s) must be clean and free of makeup, lotions, deodorants, and ointments on the day of your appointment.
  • You cannot have laser hair removal if you’ve taken antibiotics anytime in the last 2 weeks or will be taking them within 1 week after your appointment.
  • You cannot have laser hair removal if you have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) or immunosuppressants in the past 6 months.
  • Your skin must be at its base color while undergoing treatment. Stay out of the sun, use sunscreen, and avoid sunless tanners, self-tanning lotions, tanning beds, and tanning sprays for at least 2 weeks before and after your appointment. Your skin must be at its base color.
  • Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, threading, and using depilatory creams for 4 weeks prior to your appointment and while continuing to undergo laser hair removal.
  • You cannot have exfoliating facial treatments, microdermabrasions, or chemical peels for at least 2 weeks before and after your laser treatment.
  • Avoid any retinoids or exfoliating skincare products (including AHAs and BHAs) for 1 week before and after your treatment.
  • Avoid iron supplements for 72 hours before and after your appointment.
  • Avoid intense exercise, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, or hot showers for 24-72 hours post-treatment.
  • Do not use deodorant or scented products for at least 24 hours following your treatment.

Dermal Fillers & Injections

  • To receive injectable treatments, you cannot be under the age of 18, pregnant, nursing, or trying to become pregnant.
  • You cannot undergo treatment if you have a past history of autoimmune disease, are currently taking immunosuppressants, are prone to developing hypertrophic scars, or have an allergy to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine, gram-positive bacterial proteins, or any of the other ingredients in the injectable product.
  • You cannot receive filler over an area where you’ve had permanent filler or implants.
  • Do not plan to have surgery on treatment sites within the next 3-4 weeks.
  • Please reschedule if you have any open sores, rashes, hives, wounds, or active infections at the treatment site.
  • You cannot have any injectable treatments if you’ve had any dental work or vaccinations, or taken antibiotics, muscle relaxants, or sleep medication anytime in the 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
  • You cannot have radiation therapy, laser therapy, exfoliating facial treatments, microdermabrasions, or chemical peels for at least 2 weeks before and after treatment.
  • Please avoid alcohol, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, and blood-thinning medications for 48 hours before and after your appointment.
  • Please come to your appointment with the treatment area clean and free of makeup.
  • Take a break from skin-renewing treatments like retinoids or exfoliating acids for a few days prior to your appointment.
  • Avoid exercise for up to 72 hours after your treatment. 
  • If you’ve had lip fillers, avoid drinking from straws for 48 hours after your treatments.

Botox & Dysport

  • To receive Botox or Dysport treatments, you cannot be pregnant, nursing, trying to become pregnant, or under the age of 18.
  • You cannot undergo treatment if you are allergic to any Botox and Dysport ingredients including cow’s milk protein.
  • Let us know if you suffer from any neurological disorders, bleeding disorders, or trouble swallowing.
  • Please notify us if you have had facial surgery or any other changes to the way your face normally looks.
  • Please reschedule if you have any open sores, rashes, hives, wounds, or active infections at the treatment site.
  • You cannot have any injectable treatments if you’ve taken antibiotics, muscle relaxants, or sleep medication anytime in the 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
  • You cannot have radiation therapy, laser therapy, exfoliating facial treatments, microdermabrasions, or chemical peels for at least 2 weeks before and after treatment.
  • Do not plan to have surgery on treatment sites within the next 3-4 weeks.
  • Please avoid alcohol, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, and blood-thinning medications for 48 hours before and after your appointment.

  • Do not lie down or bend forward and backward for at least 4 hours after your treatment. 
  • Avoid exercise for 24 hours post-treatment. 

Kybella

  • We will not perform Kybella treatments on clients with a current or past history of dysphagia (trouble swallowing), currently pregnant, nursing, trying to become pregnant, or under the age of 18.
  • Avoid scheduling your appointment within 2 to 3 weeks of any special event, due to extreme swelling and bruising that may occur post-treatment.
  • You cannot have any injectable treatments if you’ve taken antibiotics, muscle relaxants, or sleep medication anytime in the 2 weeks prior to your appointment. Please consult with your primary physician prior to discontinuing any medications.
  • If you develop an infection or rash in the area to be treated, we recommend that you reschedule your appointment.
  • Please avoid alcohol, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, and blood-thinning medications or supplements for 72 hours before and after your appointment.
  • Please come to your appointment with the treatment area clean and free of makeup.
  • If any changes in your medical history occur, it is your responsibility to inform the healthcare professional treating you.

Morpheus8, Potenza, Forma & Evolve:

  • You cannot be pregnant, nursing, trying to become pregnant, or under the age of 18 while undergoing any skin and body treatments at SEV. 
  • Please make your nurse practitioner aware of your medical history. You cannot undergo Potenza or Morpheus8 if you have a pacemaker or other electronic implants, diabetes, and other health conditions that can impact healing. 
  • Please reschedule if you currently have any open sores, wounds, or active infection at the treatment area.
  • Stay out of the sun, use sunscreen, and avoid sunless tanners during the entire course of your treatment cycles. Your skin must be at its base color.
  • You cannot have any skin or body treatments if you have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) or immunosuppressants in the past 6 months.
  • You cannot have radiation therapy, laser therapy, exfoliating facial treatments, microdermabrasions, or chemical peels for at least 2 weeks before and after treatment. 
  • You cannot have taken antibiotics anytime in the 2 weeks prior to your appointment or iron supplements for 72 hours prior. 
  • Please come without any makeup on and with the treatment area clean and shaved.
  • Stop using resurfacing skin care products or medications like retinoids and exfoliating acids for at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Keep the treatment area clean and moisturized. 
  • Avoid intense exercise, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, or hot showers for 24-72 hours post-treatment.
  • If undergoing Morpehus8 or Potenza, do not apply makeup or scented products for 24 hours after your treatment. 
  • Apply SPF consistently & daily throughout the duration of your full treatment process.
