CCPA

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (California Civil Code Section 1798.100-1798.199), California residents are entitled to certain privacy right relating to businesses that collect personal information, including the following:

the right to know what personal information is being collected about them;
the right to know whether their personal information is sold or disclosed, and to whom;
the right to say no to the selling of their personal information;
the right to access their personal information;
And the right to non-discrimination.

SEV Laser discloses personal information about individual consumers to our affiliates, and certain third-party service providers that process information on our behalf pursuant to a written contract. Our service provider contract prohibits these businesses from retaining data past termination of partnership (within a certain time period), and using or disclosing the personal information we share with them for any purpose other than providing the services specified in the contract.

SEV LASER DOES NOT SELL ANY OF THE PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT TO ANY OTHER BUSINESS OR ANY THIRD PARTY.

The California Consume Privacy Act (CCPA) entitles California residents to the following specific right regarding businesses that collect your personal data:

Right to Know

You may request the last 12-month period of what personal information SEV Laser has collected, used, or shared about you, and why we collected, used, and shared that information.
Customers can submit this request via our Online Customer Contact Form or emailing [email protected]. When you contact us, we will send you a formal request form for your completion and your notarized signature.
SEV Laser must respond to your request within 45 calendar days after submission of formal request. SEV Laser can extend the deadline by another 45 days (90 days total) if the client is notified.
SEV Laser will provide your request for information in PDF format via email.

Right to Delete

Customers may request any personal information that SEV Laser has collected from or about you to be deleted.
SEV Laser in not obligated to deleted personal information if it is:

Necessary for internal use.
Necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
Used for detecting fraudulent or illegal activity or unauthorized use of the business’s systems.
Necessary to enable solely internal uses that are compatible with the context in which the consumer provided the information.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

Right to Correct

California clients have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

Right to Non-Discrimination

In accordance with California law, SEV Laser will not discriminate against a consumer for exercising any of their rights under the CCPA. This includes denying goods or services to the consumer, charging different prices or rates for goods or services, or providing a different level or quality of goods and services.
