Join us for the insider scoop on Forma skin tightening at SEV. Are you ready for your red carpet facial?
In this video, we give you the lowdown on Hollywood’s favorite pre-event facial treatment. Beloved by celebrities, Forma is a gentle radiofrequency procedure that gives the skin an immediate lift.
In the long term, Forma stimulates collagen remodeling through radiofrequency stimulation. Expect results like a more lifted immediate appearance, long-term reduction in wrinkles and fine lines, and overall improvement to skin tone and firmness.
The video starts with a client entering one of our SEV med spas to enjoy this pampering treatment. Next, we see clips of the client enjoying the Forma treatment. We’ve interspersed title cards throughout to explain important facts about the treatment — we’ll cover those facts in more detail throughout this post!
Who Is Forma Skin Tightening For?
You could be a candidate for Forma if any of the following apply:
- You’d like to reduce wrinkles or tighten loose skin, but not through aggressive treatments that hurt, irritate, or cause unsightly side effects.
- You’ve got a special event coming up and you want to look your best without breakouts or irritation.
- You want a relaxing treatment that still delivers clinically-proven skin-firming effects.
Sounds right? Then book your treatment at select SEV locations.
How Forma Works
Forma is an FDA-approved, non-invasive treatment for collagen induction. It presents minimal risks and absolutely zero downtime. It can work on all body parts but it’s best for the face, neck, or chest.
As we explain in the video, Forma uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to improve skin firmness and smoothness. The RF travels through the skin, heating it to the optimal level for collagen stimulation and skin tightening. This helps correct all age-related concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, deep folds, and overall laxity.
It’s as relaxing and luxurious as any traditional facial, but with immediate and long-term skin firming effects. As you can see in the video, the treatment largely consists of a rejuvenating massage with Forma’s RF applicator.
The type of RF used in Forma is bipolar, which means the current travels between two electrodes. It allows for a diffused treatment area and a more controlled temperature. Forma is also engineered with a sensor that measures and adjusts based on skin temperature to prevent side effects.

After Your Forma Treatment
As we showed in the video, it’s normal to experience a little redness for 15-30 minutes after your treatment. Rest assured, it’ll fade on its own. Forma is not associated with any other side effects, and your skin will soon look plumper, healthier, and tighter than ever.
Wait at least 30 minutes before applying any makeup after your appointment. You can apply sunscreen right away, and it’s critical to use some sort of UV protection before going outside in the sun for the entire duration of your treatment.
In the coming weeks, you will notice further improvements. For more long-lasting results, you’ll need to get at least 4-6 treatments. The good news is that you can get through this process in as little as a month, since it’s best to undergo treatments once a week.
Does Forma Skin Tightening Really Work?
Yes! There have been multiple studies proving that Forma improves collagen production and visibly reduces skin laxity or lack of definition, especially in the lower half of the face. According to clinical research, the majority of patients see improvement within a series of 4-6 sessions.
Forma is mild compared to skin tightening procedures that utilize microneedling, like Morpheus8 and Potenza, but as mentioned in the Forma skin tightening video, there are fewer risks and side effects so it’s a sure bet for any occasion.
